The OrgSync Campus Liaison Internship Program
In an effort to build strong relationships with our campuses, OrgSync announces our new Campus Liaison program. The internship program is open to student leaders on OrgSync campuses. Through the program, the participants will gain valuable experience about how to use social media for marketing, as well as presentation, event planning, and communication skills. The students will work closely with OrgSync’s Client Services team to design campaigns on their campuses to increase awareness and get more students involved with OrgSync. We believe that every student should benefit from the many features of OrgSync, and our Campus Liaisons will help us achieve this.
Applicants should be creative, innovative, active leaders on campus with a strong willingness to learn about social media and marketing. Our top interns will be eligible for an all-expenses-paid trip to OrgSync headquarters in Austin, TX once per semester.
Purpose: The purpose of the Campus Liaison Internship program is for college students on OrgSync campuses to utilize social media to create visibly active communities, while gaining valuable marketing, social networking, and leadership skills. The Campus Liaisons will work with our Client Services team to strengthen the connection between OrgSync and our campuses.
Job Responsibilities:
- Create and manage a blog on campus about the student leadership experience
- Create and execute successful marketing campaigns to increase student awareness and involvement with OrgSync
- Use social media to market OrgSync and connect the campus
- Plan and host OrgSync events and training sessions on the campus
- Conduct campus research to design ways for various offices and student groups on campus to utilize OrgSync
- Evaluate the user experience and respond to requests from users on respective campus
- Uphold the OrgSync, Inc. standards at all times as the on-campus OrgSync representative
- Other projects as created or assigned, depending on personal interests and what you would like to learn from the experience!
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Experience using Web 2.0 technologies, such as Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, Digg, Delicious, etc. The desired applicant will have established accounts with these various social media tools or will be willing to create accounts and learn about how to maximize communication through social media.
- Experience writing or blogging. Excellent writing and editing skills with close attention to detail.
- A visible leader on campus and an active OrgSync user or the potential to become one.
- Strong time management skills, ability to handle multiple tasks and projects.
- Excellent listening and communication skills
- Self-motivated and a self-starter. Ability to take on projects and work with minimal supervision.
- Innovative, inspirational, likes a challenge.
