What
To
Expect

One of the most engaging and rewarding conferences, ever.

Campus Labs is committed to helping institutions enrich their student engagement efforts on campus. We provide advanced technology designed to promote and measure student involvement. Our annual conference, Connect, is an opportunity to share best practices across all of our member institutions. At Connect, we bring together campuses from around the world to share creative ideas and practical strategies for how to better engage students, assess outcomes, and enhance their campus communities.

Over the course of three exciting days, you will have the opportunity to engage and participate in over 30 educational sessions led by professionals from other campuses and Campus Labs, build new relationships with peers and the Campus Labs team, and learn about the latest developments coming soon to your campus community. Whether a first-time or returning attendee, all will leave Connect 2016 equipped with the latest skills and knowledge to take their campus communities to the next level.

What is the attire for the conference?
Conference attire is casual, and we encourage you to wear your school colors! Connect will take place in the middle of the Texas summer, so please keep in mind that it can get very hot.
Who do I contact if I have special needs?
For special needs requests, please reach out to the conference planning committee via email at events@campuslabs.com. Please include “Special Needs Request” in your subject line.
Do I need to rent a car in Dallas?
The conference hotel is located directly on the Dart Orange Line which has direct access to both Dallas airports. The DART is also a great way to get to other locations in Dallas so no car rental is required unless you are venturing outside of the DART area.
Can I bring guests to evening events?
Guests may not attend conference sessions; however, each attendee may invite one guest to attend evening events. Guests must be 21 years or older because alcohol will be served.
Who should attend?
If you’re a campus administrator, departmental staff member, IT professional, or student leader, then Connect is for you! You’ll meet and collaborate with your peers in student life, residence halls, recreational sports, information technology, student organizations, and more. Your colleagues from campuses across the U.S.—and even the world—attend Connect to be motivated by what other institutions are doing, learn from their successes, share best practices, and bring that knowledge back to campus. Connect is also a great way to learn more if you’re considering bringing OrgSync or CollegiateLink to your campus.
What is Connect’s refund and cancellation policy?
Registration refunds will be issued through April 1, 2016. After that date, no additional registration refunds will be issued; however, registrations can be transferred to Connect 2017.
Can I transfer my registration to another person and how can I do that?
Yes, you can transfer your registration. Please contact events@campuslabs.com to do so.
